The blend is made from high-quality pine bark according to an Austrian recipe and has excellent air permeability.
Composition: Pine bark (not less than 80%), agroperlite and long-fibre moss.
Usage – before transplanting the plants, the substrate must be aerated and additionally moistened.
Properties:
- Moisture content not more than 40%
- pH (H2O) 5.5-6.5
- Electrical conductivity 0.8-1.2 mS/cm.
Tips: avoid allowing moisture to remain in the pot, because this encourages the plant’s roots to rot. Orchids are heat-loving, so daytime temperatures should be at least +18°C; avoid temperature differences. The Phalaenopsis orchid should be repotted once every two years, immediately after flowering.
