We can supply a blend of wood shavings and milled fuel peat in the ratio requested by the customer. The energy value of wood and fuel peat is similar, but the combustion properties slightly differ. Fuel peat is characterised by a longer smouldering time than wood, so the combustion process is better when a blend of wood and fuel peat is fed into the boiler. The long experience of Swedish and Finnish energy producers has shown that boilers using a blend of wood and fuel peat do not wear out as quickly as boilers using wood shavings alone. Therefore, this blend is chosen in order to improve and extend boiler operation.
